We will start this page with the main topic: Our new wood sculptures. This started because Paul decided to use some scrap wood that he had from various projects. We have a little Christmas decoration that we like; it has a triangular shape. This shape inspired the first sculpture: Harbor Form.

This was followed by a project that was inspired not only by scrap wood, but also by wine corks that we have collected over the years: Vintage Reserve.

Continuing with the triangle shape, Paul next made Still Motion.

Having explored the triangle shape for a bit, Paul then decided to work with a different shape, circles. Here is Echo Circles.

And the most recent (as of the end of July 2026) focuses on curves: Forest Glen

In addition to the art projects, Paul also made a footstool for Anne's desk. It helps her sit 'normally' at her desk (although she still often tucks her feet on her chair). The main section of this footstool is actually leftover siding from when Paul built our barn back in 1991!

Anne also contributed some to the home decor. She made some seasonal felted gnomes. The picture below shows some of the winter ones, but if you click the picture it will bring you to a small album that includes both winter and spring gnomes. The summer ones were delayed due to a crochet project, so we will see if Autumn or Summer show up next.
