On Sunday, we had to take our leave of Frank and Diane and head home. We met Federico and Valentina at Grand Central Station, since there were spending the night at Paul's Mom's house. Mom had a nice lunch for us, after picking us up from the train station. Here is Mom, Federico, Valentina, and Paul.

Tiffany, Bobby, and Fallyn came over first to visit.

Federico and Valentina were told that this was just the beginning of the food, and that they were going to have to eat a lot more.

(Actually, I have no idea what was said but it is an adorable picture.) Tiff did her part to eat some of the apple cake.

We played a little bocce ball until the others arrived. Federico and Valentina did not recall playing bocce ball back home. They are naturals at the game, though.

A nice shot of the back of Mom's house, and one of us down on the lawn.

Federico and Valentina's visit gave people the opportunity to give them wedding gifts; here they are opening a gift from Kristen and Dan.

Paul, Ron, Debi, Kristen, and Bobby.

A nice shot of the back yard behind Kristen, Federico, and Valentina. And then a photograph of Kristen, Federico, Valentina, Jeff, and Paul.

Ron, Debi, and Domenika (Jeff's girlfried).

Dan, Kristen, Bobby.

Here is a picture of Federico, Valentina, Laura, and Emil.

Federico and Valentina valiantly ate a couple more slices of pizza.

Ron, Jeff, Debi, and Dan ate in the living room.

Federico's grandfather Eugenio is Paul's grandfather Gino's brother. The two of them (the grandfathers, that is, not Paul and Federico) were different ages but looked almost identical. Eugenio and Iole (their sister) had come over to visit back in 1975. We spent a little time looking at some of the old pictures.

We headed back home Sunday night. Mom brought Federico & Valentina to the train station the next morning, so that they could get their flight to Miami.
